Best 4K TV Under 30000 in India

Thomson is one of the tier 2 brands that have been making quite the name in the Indian market thanks to its aggressive pricing and quality TV panels that they are providing. The display is the centerpiece of attraction of the TV. Firstly, it’s a whopping 50 inches, thus content watching will be great on it.

Secondly, it has a 4K Ultra HD resolution of 3840×2160 pixels thus picture quality will be on point and crisp. Finally, the brightness of the display is probably the most polarizing feature for a smart TV under the price of rupees 30000. At its peak, the Thomson TV can go up to a massive 550 Nits. The large 50-inch screen size, the 4K UHD display with HDR support for rich and vibrant colors and finally the 550 nits of peak brightness means that media consumption will be simply amazing.

The ports for external connectivity on the TV is pretty solid too. There are 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, a headphone jack, digital audio output, audio output, RF port and finally an ethernet port. Using these ports you can connect various devices like pen drive, projector, laptop, set-top box, gaming console, etc.

The performance though powerful enough to run day to day apps like Netflix, Hotstar, and YouTube is not powerful enough to run lightweight games at decent frame rates. This is mainly due to the fact that most of the power of the hardware is used to push those 4K pixels on the display. Talking about the specs we get 1GB of RAM capacity, 8GB of internal storage and a dual-core ARM A53 core clocked at 1.4GHz. The OS on the TV is proprietary and is Android-based.

There is also support for 20W speaker, Screen mirroring and an app store for downloading apps which are standard features for a Smart TV under the price of Rs. 30000.

From the Pixelight series of VU, this is an Ultra HD 4K Smart TV with a large 55-inch panel. There are 3 TVs in the Pixelight series and this is the largest one.

Thanks to the 55-inch display panel, the videos look sharp and crisp and thanks to the large screen real-estate couple with the super high-resolution everything looks simply great. Coming to the hardware powering the processor. We find a dual-core processor powering the TV. One the RAM front we see a 1GB memory onboard to help with apps launches and smooth OS running with a 4GB of internal storage for installing apps. The TV also runs on a proprietary Linus based OS that VU calls Linear Home UI. This enables the TV to run on certain apps like Prime video which is not yet supported even on some Android TV smart TVs through direct support. A dedicated Appstore called VEWD which allows for downloading of additional apps.

The Pixelight 55 gets a speaker upgrade to 24W from the 20W seen on the Pixelight 43. With most of the features like tuning by Dolby Digital and DTS True Sound onboard and software features Favorite channel list, Power off if no signal to conserve energy being carried over from the Pixelight 43 to here too.
